Kayenta Loop

ROUTE SUMMARY

The Snow Canyon eBike Rental’s Kayenta Loop is a fun and easy route that stays within the neighborhoods of Ivins and Kayenta, Utah.

It does NOT go up into the Snow Canyon State Park.

The trail consists of both paved bike paths as well as city streets. The route starts at the roundabout in Ivins, Utah where Snow Canyon Parkway and South Tuacahn Parkway converge. The route then travels west out to the unique community of Kayenta. This trail is easily accessed (within 1 minute) from our rental location.

The route is fairly level with an overall gradual drop in elevation as you go out towards Kayenta. Once in Kayenta, you will have a gradual climb until you reach the north edge of the community. From there it is a fun gradual downhill with one climb as the road passes a small ravine. From there it is a fairly flat and straight back into Ivins and back to the Snow Canyon eBike Rental location.

This is a ‘lollipop’ loop route. You will go out to a certain point, and then complete the loop, and then back on the same route that you went out on.

This trail is highly recommended for those that want to enjoy and explore the city streets of Ivins and Kayenta at a leisurely pace. The beautiful southwest homes found in the Kayenta community set among the amazing backdrop of the Red Cliffs is a stunning site.

We recommend doing this trail if you are just wanting to explore the area and don’t have much time or are just wanting a more level bike ride. Total distance is approximately 10 miles. We suggest that you take your time, with occasional stopping, taking pictures, and even stopping to grab a bite to eat at the Icebox Grill if you need a break. The route does NOT go up into Snow Canyon State Park, but still has some beautiful scenery and backdrops.

*Be sure to lock you eBike up before you leave it alone for any period of time. We do provide bike locks upon request.
